Create a Plan: Create a plan that will help you achieve this goal. Break it down into small sections and take it step by step. Do you want to run a 5k? Start by splitting the 5k into sections, run 1.5k one week, 2k the next then build slowly to your goal. Do you need to meal prep for this goal? Plan out your meals on a Sunday for the week ahead
Start Small: This is similar to step 2. To avoid burnout by starting with manageable goals and gradually increasing intensity, duration, or complexity. By doing this it will help prevent injury and keeps motivation high.
Prioritise Nutrition: Fuel your body with a balanced diet of lean proteins, whole grains, fruits, vegetables, and healthy fats. Having a healthy diet supports your workouts and overall well-being. This won’t just help your physical performance but will help your mental health too.
Stay Consistent: Consistency is key. Don’t give up! Even if you feel like your nowhere near reaching your goal, you will be closer than you think.
Rest is best: Allow your body to recover by getting adequate sleep and incorporating rest days into your routine. Recovery is essential for muscle growth physical performance and overall health.
Track Progress: Track your progress using measurements, photos, or performance notes. Do this weekly or monthly, this will give you an insight into how well you are doing and give you a confidence boost to one step closer to your goal
